Snowdrops and sunshine ( at last!!)

Just spent last weekend with the delightful Daisy, dog and house sitting whilst her owners were away visiting family. A very intelligent and energetic young lady, we bonded straight away. The rear garden backed onto open fields and countryside which was ideal for Daisy who loved running freely with much ball throwing and

retrieving. A very well trained and active dog she was good fun, good company and very cuddly.

Labrador Retrievers are a popular, friendly and energetic dog breed known for being a great family companion, guide dog or working dog due to their intelligence, eagerness to please and affectionate nature. They require significant daily excercise and mental stimulation, their high energy levels require at least 2 hours exercise daily.

Originated from Newfounland, Canada as working dogs for Fishermen.

In England they were developed as gundogs for retrieving game on land and in water, they have a distinctive " Otter tail shape " for swimming.

Excel as service dogs like guide dogs and assistance dogs due to their intelligence and trainability.
