Ralph & Darcy

The trees are green and the farmers are ploughing/sowing the fields ready for this year's harvest.
Meet Ralph the "Sheepadoodle" an Old English Sheepdog cross Standard Poodle, such a gentle giant with Darcy the"Cockapoo" a Cocker Spaniel cross Poodle, a little bundle of fun. Recently looked after this wonderful pair for a few days and loved getting out and about with them. Both are very obedient, kind natured and loving, such softies!!

The Old English Sheepdog is a large shaggy dog breed from England known for its distinctive coat and playful nature. Developed in England in the 18th & 19th centuries as a versatile herding and droving dog.
They are intellingent, affectionate and energetic requiring significant grooming and exercise.
The Standard Poodle is the largest of the 3 poodle sizes known for being highly intelligent, active and elegant with a distinctive curly low shedding coat.
Originally from Germany they were bred as water retrievers, the name comes from the German word "Pudel" meaning splash.

The Cocker Spaniel is a cheerful,energetic and intelligent
gundog originally bred to flush out
woodcock hence their name.
Known for their long silky ears and
expressive eyes they are people
orientated, loyal and eager to please
making them great family pets.
The Cockapoo is a popular cross breed or " designer dog" resulting from mixing a cocker spaniel with a poodle. Known for being friendly, intelligent and energetic. They typically have curly, low-shedding coats making them a good choice for allergy sufferers.
They are affectionate, playful and thrive on human companionship but can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone too long.
